Law firms Flynn O’Driscoll and Vincent & Beatty agree to merge

Corporate law firm Flynn O'Driscoll LLP and commercial law firm Vincent & Beatty LLP have announced a formal agreement to merge, effective 1 January.

The firms said the merger reflects their commitment to expanding service offerings for their diverse client base, which spans multinational corporations, public bodies, and private clients.

Vincent & Beatty clients will continue to be advised by their existing contacts in Vincent & Beatty and Miriam Delaney, Walter Beatty and Rebecca Matthews will join Flynn O’Driscoll as partners.

Since its founding in 2002, Flynn O’Driscoll has grown from Patrick G. Flynn Solicitors into a leading full-service law firm with offices in Dublin, Galway, and Shannon.

The firm has consistently expanded its practice through strategic mergers, including Cunningham McCormack in 2010 to build out its litigation and property offering, Trade Secrets in 2014 to incorporate its IP and Data Privacy expertise, Fanning & Kelly in 2019 to enhance its Media & Entertainment capabilities, and the 2020 merger of the commercial litigation practice of O’Callaghan Legal.

The merger with Vincent & Beatty brings the firm’s headcount to 140.
