Dee’s Wholefoods, launched by health food entrepreneur Dee Collins in 2008, has received a €160,000 equity investment from DWF Ventures Ltd.
DWF Ventures is an investment vehicle for Pete Smyth, who was chief executive of Noonan Services Group from 2003 to 2008. He previously worked with Lehman Brothers and turnaround specialist Allen McGuire.
Smyth's Broadlake Capital is an independent private investment firm focused on investing in MBOs, providing growth capital and special situations.
Dee's Wholefoods produces a range of meal and snacks, including wholefood burgers made with grains, beans and seeds. The company's range of Delicious Dishes is sold in multiples.
