Game Sparks Technologies Ltd, an online platform that provides developers with tools to build the server-side components of their games, has topped up its equity base with €260,000 from Martin Moran, who lives in Compton in Berkshire.
GameSparks, established in 2013 by John Griffin and UK residents Gabriel Page and Griffin Parry, booked a loss of €907,000 in its startup phase from June 2013 to December 2014.
In November 2015, the company sourced €300,000 investment from Robert Mark Redwood, while Shirlawa Group invested €400,000 in August 2015. Shirlawa also received equity valued at €200,000 in consideration for services rendered.
Irish taxpayers through Enterprise Ireland invested €100,000 in December 2014 and €125,000 a year earlier. GameSparks has operations in York and Dublin.
