Ulster Bank has launched a series of Business Roadshows around the country, starting on Thursday June 9 in Cork, as part of its drive to become number one for customer service, trust and advocacy.
The bank has teamed up with organisations such as the Irish Exporters Association and the Irish Independent for the support and networking events. The banks says it has €1.5bn available to lend to businesses in 2016, a 31% increase on last year.
As part of the ten roadshows, there will be briefings from in-house experts on innovation, exporting, agriculture, sustainable growth, customer engagement and social media.
Eddie Cullen, managing director of Ulster Bank’s Commercial Banking Division, said: “We want to help local businesses to develop ideas, discuss their lending needs and find out what we can do to help our customers achieve their ambitions.
“We know that many of our customers, from farmers to manufacturers and multi-nationals, view 2016 as a key year in terms of implementing growth plans and access to funding is essential. We look forward to talking to businesses about how we can help them fulfil their ambitions.”
