Insurance broker PIB Group has bought out Sheridan Colohan Insurance Brokers, the eighth broker to join PIB’s line-up in Ireland.

The Wicklow broker team will be supported during integration into PIB’s operation by Campion Insurance, which leads PIB’s expansion in Ireland, having been acquired last year.

Founder Eamonn Sheridan said: “This is a very exciting time for us, and we are delighted to become part of PIB Group. Not only have we reached a proud milestone of 41 years in business this year, we are taking an important step for our future, which is made even stronger by being part of a larger group."

Campion chief executive Jim Campion added: “Sheridan-Colohan has a very loyal customer base that has stayed with them for many years, which is credit to their reputation as an honest and reliable company.
