PIB Group has acquired CK Financial Solutions, the Mullingar-based brokerage, bringing the British group's Irish financial services assets under management to over €1.2bn.
The acquisition, which was managed by the management team of local subsidiary Campion Insurance, is part of PIB's strategy to expand its footprint and offering in Ireland.
PIB has a positive view of the continued growth potential of the Irish market and has other acquisitions pending, underscoring the market's importance to the group.

CKY Financial Solutions is a financial advisory broker that offers services in investments, pensions and business consultancy and has a portfolio of 1,300 clients.
The Westmeath business is currently owned and managed by Sheila Cassidy and Declan Keegan and has a workforce of eight.
