Activ8 Solar Energies has announced the launch of the ATLAS Duo N-Type, its most advanced solar PV panel to date.
Activ8 has designed and engineered the product to perform exceptionally well under variable weather conditions to ensure reliable energy generation for both households and businesses.
The Duo N-Type is built to endure high winds of up to 290km/h and is resistant to salt mist and ammonia, making it suitable for coastal regions.
It also incorporates bifacial technology, enabling it to harness power from both sides of the panel, and has been engineered to generate power at maximum efficiency even on overcast days, which are of course frequent in Ireland.
The panel has a high power output of 445W and is backed by an industry-leading 30-year power warranty.

Activ8 has installed more than 250,000 solar panels nationwide.
Accounts for Marron Activ8 Energies Ltd show the company made a profit of €9m in 2023 as turnover increased year-on-year from €23.7m to €42.5m.
