Aldi Ireland is preparing for St Patrick's Day by spotlighting Irish suppliers and encouraging shoppers to buy their products ahead of the Bank Holiday.
From next Thursday (13 March), consumers can buy a range of Irish-made food and drink products that have come through the Grow with Aldi programme and are now part of the Best of Grow seasonal range.
Grow with Aldi is the retailer's product accelerator and supplier development programme that selects products from Irish food and drink makers to be stock in the company's 163 stores nationwide.
Since 2018, Aldi has invested more than €10.5m in the initiative, supporting hundreds of small businesses. The products.
The range being rolled out in Aldi stores next week includes:
FemFuelz
With FemFuelz products making a return to stores, this time they are introducing a new and exclusive flavour for Aldi – FemFuelz White Chocolate Whey Protein €16.49.
Developed specifically to meet the nutritional needs of women, this Limerick-based female-specific supplement brand participated in Grow with Aldi in 2023.
Since then, the company has secured contracts exceeding €1.6m with Aldi, helping to support its growth and expansion.
Customers can also fuel up with The Sibly Cacao & Orange Energy Ball Pot 2 Pack €2.95.
Based in Ballydesmond, Co. Cork, The Sibly Food Co.’s delicious range of energy balls has been a customer favourite since winning a Grow with Aldi contract in 2022.
Builín Blasta
Elevate your lunchtime sambo with Builín Blasta Smoked Onion Mayo €4.49, a refrigerator must-have which also won a Grow with Aldi contract in 2022 and most recently claimed Gold at the Blas na hÉireann Awards 2024.
Enhance every meal with a pinch of Skillet & Spice Everything Seasoning €3.99, a versatile pantry staple from Co. Carlow from the Grow with Aldi 2024 programme.
Sprinkle it over your salad, add to your morning eggs or toss into a stir fry – the possibilities are endless.
