Currys has announced the launch of its very own VPN service, Secure VPN.
The chain says the service is "designed to bring powerful online privacy and security to households across Ireland".

Secure VPN will, say Curry's, be powered by IP Vanish.
IP Vanish is a virtual private network (VPN) service that allows users to encrypt their internet traffic and mask their IP address, enhancing online privacy and security.
It achieves this by routing user data through remote servers, making it harder for third parties to track online activity and intercept sensitive information.
Currys says their product will prevent websites, advertisers, and ISPs from tracking your activity, allow users to stay protected on public Wi-Fi and avoid cyber threats.
You will also be able to access content from anywhere in the world and bypass restrictions.
Secure VPN is available at a special introductory price of just €19.99 for a full year when purchased along with any other product.
The store says the regular price for the VPN will be €89.
