Irish news, entertainment and sports website Extra.ie has teamed up with Ireland's only dedicated music news magazine, Hot Press, to offer readers a cultural news feed on site.

This brand new collaboration delivers a specially curated news stream straight from the Hot Press Hot Desk, daily, on a dedicated HP channel on the Extra.ie website

With an abiding commitment to music at its core, Hot Press remains the essential guide in Ireland to rock, pop, dance and all the best in contemporary music, both nationally and internationally.

But Hot Press is also about more than music. It’s current affairs, cinema, sport, humour, books, fashion, politics, sex – everything that matters.

Extra.ie delivers the latest in Irish news, entertainment and sport, with opinions on the issues that matter to its audience of over 1.6 million every month.

Niall Stokes, Founder and Editor of Hot Press said: “It has always been a core part of the Hot Press mission to spread the gospel of rock ‘n’ roll as far and as widely as possible – and, in particular, to support Irish musicians, artists, filmmakers, writers and creatives in every way we can.

“This collaboration with Extra.ie will enable us to broadcast the word about the artists we love – and about the extraordinary achievements of Irish musicians – to a whole new audience.

“We are really looking forward to it.”

Paul Henderson, CEO of dmg Media Ireland said: “The music world has always been enriched by great collabs. Extra.ie and Hot Press is the publishing one that we have been excited about for some time.
