David Quinn, Maura Ashe and Stephen Rogers appointed to IAPI board

IAPI, The Institute Of Advertising Practitioners In Ireland, has appointed three new board members following their AGM last week.

David Quinn, Director & Founder, Bloom, Maura Ashe, Managing Partner, UM Ireland (IPG Mediabrands), and Stephen Rogers, Creative Director, Droga5 Dublin have all joined the IAPI board.

Jenna Greene, Effectiveness Director, Omnicom Media Group, has been appointed as the new Futureheads Chair.

Speaking on his appointment, Quinn said he is delighted to be getting involved "after being an active member of the organisation for many years – including serving on the CCCI board for seven years as the IAPI representative.

"With over 26 years’ experience in the industry, I’ve seen lots of weird and wonderful things – and I’m excited to see what’s we as a board will do over the coming years.”

Ashe added, “I am honoured and excited to join the IAPI Board of Directors.

"Over the years, I have admired the remarkable work IAPI has accomplished in shaping and advancing our industry.

"I look forward to collaborating with this exceptional team to drive continued growth, innovation, and transformation in the advertising landscape.”

Rogers said he is also delighted with the appointment and he wants to "use my time on the board to focus on the issues I believe are vital to the future of the creative industry in Ireland.

"Firstly, I firmly believe in the value of building a strong creative culture.

"Secondly, I believe it is our responsibility, as creative professionals, to encourage diversity in our industry."

New Futureheads Chair, Greene added, “As soon as this position became available, I felt very compelled to submit a nomination; I was excited about the opportunity to build upon all the great work already done by Adam [Brannigan] and past members and determined to make a positive impact in shaping the future of our industry.

"With that being said, today I am absolutely delighted to be elected as the next IAPI Futureheads Chair and would like to sincerely thank the IAPI board and all voting agencies for their consideration and support.”

IAPI President Abi Moran welcomed the new appointments while also thanking outgoing board members Sean Hynes, Margaret Gilsenan and Adam Brannigan: “We are immensely grateful for all the support and resources Sean, Margaret and Adam have shared with IAPI.

"They have been invaluable members of the team, giving so much of their time, energy and insights. We are sorry to see them leave us but we look forward to working with David, Maura, Stephen and Jenna to further promote the Irish industry.”
