Maxol announced as new sponsor of the Laura Fox Show on 2FM

Maxol has been announced as the new sponsor of The Laura Fox Show on 2FM.

The 12-month deal brokered by Core includes 9 x 10-second sponsor-credited stings per show, as well as sponsor-credited promos across the 2FM seven-day schedule.

There will also be listen-back and homepage sponsorship which Maxol said will give them "a unique opportunity to engage with audiences in their homes, in their cars or at work."

Nikki Maguire, Head of Marketing, Maxol said, “2FM is a fantastic platform for the Maxol brand, as it connects with people of all ages across Ireland.

"This sponsorship marks an exciting milestone in our multi-channel marketing strategy, providing a unique opportunity to engage with audiences in their homes, in their cars or at work."

While Tara Farrell, sponsorship manager RTÉ Radio said: "RTÉ Media Sales are delighted to announce Maxol as the first ever sponsor of 'The Laura Fox Show' and are looking forward to partnering with them over the next 12 months."  

Last year Maxol announced a partnership with Dunnes Stores, involving a trial at a service station in Templeogue which is stocking products from the Simply Better range.

The company reported its trading results for last year, which showed group turnover was €756m which represented a decrease of €120m on the previous year, due to a drop in the cost of fuel.

Group profit after tax was €27.5m for 2023. The group finished 2023 in a strong financial position, with no net bank debt and a substantial cash surplus.
