The Public Relations industry honoured the nominees for the 40 Under 40 list at the dmg media Hub on Haddington Road on Thursday evening.
Over the past few months, dmg media has shone a spotlight on the young talent making waves within the industry and featured them through a series of articles on a weekly basis.
Talented individuals across a wide range of roles and agencies who have shared their career histories as well as their interests and values were chosen by dmg media for the list.
Each week three individuals from different companies were featured as part of the segment, offering an insight into their drive and motivation with their favourite quotes and the most notable piece of advice they received during their career.
Dr Martina Byrne of the PRII was in attendance and congratulated each of the winners on their awards.
"You are all being recognised for your achievements to date, but with that comes a responsibility," Byrne said.
"There will be people coming up behind you on the ladder and your role now is to put out a hand and help them up."
Liz Doyle, Group Head of Female Brands for dmg, opened up proceedings, welcoming everyone to the event and underlined dmg's ethos of 'Engaging Audiences Through Great Content', emphasising how dmg "communicate our and YOUR message to over 3.6m Adults throughout Ireland".
Group Head of Sales, Karl Byrne was also on hand to present the awards.
