Sky Business has announced the expansion of its enterprise solutions portfolio in Ireland, strengthening its offering to multinational and local businesses alike.
The move highlights parent company Comcast’s commitment to supporting global enterprises with secure, scalable, and innovative technology solutions by combining the strengths of both Sky Business and Comcast Business.
The newly expanded portfolio, powered by Comcast Business, introduces a suite of advanced networking and security tools now available to Irish organisations.
Among them are:
- Software Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN): A modern networking approach that improves performance, reduces costs, and increases flexibility by routing traffic across multiple connections.
- Secure Access Service Edge (SASE): A cloud-based solution unifying networking and security to securely connect users with applications from any location.
- Advanced Security Solutions: Including Managed Detection and Response (MDR) for 24/7 threat monitoring, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) for device protection, and Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) for deep traffic inspection.
- Unified Communications (UCaaS): A cloud-based platform combining voice, video, messaging, and collaboration.
- Managed Network Services: Comprehensive support for network infrastructure, ensuring reliability while businesses focus on growth.
These enterprise-grade solutions aim to improve operational agility, enhance customer and employee experiences, and ensure reliable global connectivity.
“Ireland is a cornerstone of global enterprise operations,” said Gavan Smyth, Managing Director of Comcast Business Global Sales.
“We’re here to support the world’s largest brands as they scale, innovate, and connect across borders.
“With Sky’s trusted presence and Comcast Business’s advanced technologies, we’re delivering a new standard of global secure networking solutions to businesses in Ireland.”
Sky, one of Ireland’s most recognised consumer brands, has long delivered premium broadband, mobile, and entertainment services.
Its B2B arm, Sky Business, has supported Irish companies for more than 20 years, particularly with business television services.

Comcast Business, meanwhile, has grown from a startup into a $10bn global networking leader in just 18 years, serving 2.5 million customers across 130 countries.
By aligning Comcast’s advanced technology with Sky’s established local presence, the company says that Sky Business is now positioned to deliver enterprise-grade services with the performance, reliability, and trust Irish businesses demand.
