Vodafone named best mobile operator for tenth year in a row

Vodafone has been voted the nation’s leading mobile network for the tenth year in a row.

The mobile provider secured the 'Best in Test' accolade from independent benchmarking organisation Umlaut.

The award comes as Vodafone Ireland continues to roll out its €500 million five-year investment programme to enhance network performance across the country.

The investment is intended to improve call and text reliability, 4G and 5G services, and expand high-definition voice coverage for customers and businesses nationwide.

In addition to being named 'Best in Test', the company was also recognised as the most reliable mobile network for voice, data and consistent user experience.

The company, which has over 2.3 million customers, employs over 2,000 people in Ireland across its Dublin headquarters and 80 retail units across the country.

It recently said it was expecting to support huge network usage over a summer of events.

In this year’s benchmark, Vodafone achieved a record-breaking score of 927 out of 1000—the highest ever awarded for mobile performance in Ireland.
