ŠKODA Ireland has announced changes to its Senior Management and wider team for 2022.
Oliver Whelan has been appointed Head of Planning. An ever more complex role in the current environment, Oliver’s responsibilities include inventory and logistics management with the current challenges of ensuring the business delivers sufficient vehicle volumes to meet the increasing customer demand.
In addition ŠKODA has appointed Keith Purdy as Head of Sales. With more than 15 years in the industry, Keith has broad sales experience including at retail level, fleet/B2B and Used Car programmes.
In the short term, Keith’s responsibility is maintaining ŠKODA’s current market position (4th) with an objective of achieving a top 3 market position by 2025.
The ŠKODA Ireland Team has been strengthened further with the appointment of Lee Philips and Libor Pavlas as ŠKODA Product Managers.
These four announcements come at an exciting time for the ŠKODA brand with two new models set to be introduced in Ireland in 2022 including the new all electric ENYAQ iV Coupe and facelifted KAROQ.
Welcoming the appointments, John Donegan, Brand Director, ŠKODA Ireland, said: “We are preparing for an exciting future at ŠKODA. We have strengthened the ŠKODA brand with the addition of Keith, Oliver, Lee and Libor to the ŠKODA team.
