Independent law firm A&L Goodbody has appointed Jeff Greene as a partner in its employment practice group.
Greene joins ALG from William Fry where he spent nearly nine years and was a partner in the employment & benefit group.
He started his career as a solicitor with McCann FitzGerald, spending more than 12 years there and rising to the level of senior associate in employment law.
ALG said that Greene has extensive experience advising employers on complex employment advisory matters, the defence of employment related litigation and has particular expertise advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, for which he is well known in the market.
David Widger, managing partner at ALG, said: “With Jeff’s arrival, the Dublin employment group now has six dedicated employment partners, working alongside 17 other specialist employment lawyers.
"Our market leading practice group has doubled its partner headcount in the last two years and continues to go from strength to strength.
"This growth is reflective of the demand we’re seeing from clients and the team’s standing in the market. We’re delighted Jeff has joined us and look forward to his contribution in the years ahead.”

ALG's employment practice is led by Michael Doyle, and Greene will work alongside the other employment partners, Duncan Inverarity, Noeleen Meehan, Bríd NicSuibhne and Aisling Muldowney in Dublin, and Gareth Walls and Aisling Byrne in Belfast.
A&L Goodbody, which advised on the most Irish M&A transactions of any law firm last year, recently appointed four new partners in Dublin and one in Belfast.
