Bunratty Castle lands Small Business gong at All Ireland Marketing awards

Bunratty Castle and Folk Park has won the Small Business award at the All Ireland Marketing Awards.

The award was presented at a gala dinner in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin.

Circa 700 marketing professionals gathered to honour the 99 shortlisted finalist companies, selected from among hundreds of entries, who are competing across 20 categories.

The awards judges named Mary Lambkin of UCD Business School as Marketing Champion.

Lambkin is Professor of Marketing at the Smurfit Graduate Business School, and has educated generations of marketing graduates.

She was the first woman to chair the Marketing Society and is a board director of international financial services companies and public sector organisations.

In the B2B Marketing category, the award was won by Expleo.

The Marketing Team of the Year award was won Irish Distillers, led by marketing director Jessica Norris.

Diageo Ireland took two awards, Sponsorship Management and Marketing Innovation & Creativity.

The National Lottery won awards for Online Channel Marketing for the best Advertising Campaign.

The newly introduced Sustainability award was presented to An Post, while SuperValu and ad agency TBWA received the Client Agency Collaboration award.

Energia retained the Gradam MargaĆ­ochta le Gaeilge award, and Toyota won an award for best Brand Campaign.

Young Marketer awards were presented to Rebecca Stenson from Woodies and James Lace from Diageo.
