MKC Communications has announced the appointment of Brian Harrison as Managing Director.
Harrison will take up the role on March 1st and will lead an experienced management team as the company targets future growth in what it describes as a buoyant market.
Harrison succeeds Tim Kinsella as he completes a ten-year term as managing director of the company he co-founded with Laurie Mannix in 1999.
The founders remain Executive Directors and will continue to actively manage client portfolios, along with Directors David Kinch and Fiona Byrne.
MKC Communications provides strategic public relations and government affairs advice to some of the most recognisable companies and organisations in Ireland including Virgin Media, Salesforce, Energia, Lakeland Dairies and St. Vincents Healthcare Group.

Outgoing Managing Director and co-founder Tim Kinsella said: “We’re very pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Harrison as our new MD.

“He will lead our team as we continue to grow our business while constantly maintaining our client-first ethos.

Harrison was previously head of communications for the American Chamber of Commerce Ireland (2008-2016), one of Ireland’s most influential representative bodies.
There he led national and international communications programmes positioning Ireland as an attractive and important FDI location while defending Ireland’s taxation regime.
He joined MKC in 2016 and supports a range of clients in the areas of healthcare, technology and public sector.
Since 2023 he has also been a Director of the Public Relations Consultants Association of Ireland.
