Canon Ireland has announced it will partner with the Cantec Group to open the new Canon Business Centre Munster (CBC Munster) in Cork to support local businesses by offering printer hardware, software, services and support.

The announcement marks a significant milestone for Cantec Group as CBC Munster is the first Canon Business Centre in Ireland, and it aims to support the adoption of digital technologies by businesses in line with the government's National Digital Strategy.

Waterford-based Cantec Group was established in 1994 as a photocopier dealership, and the family business has grown to become a trusted reseller of Cana hardware and software products with offices in Limerick, Mullingar, Dublin and Cork.

Commenting on the launch, Philip Brady, head of Canon Ireland, said: “Cantec is a trusted partner that we have been working alongside for many years and share many of the same values, including an ambition to deliver the best customer service and innovation to our customers.

"By partnering together to create a Canon Business Centre in Cork, we hope to deliver even stronger support to local businesses to help them grow in these challenging times.”
