DAA appoints Catherine Gubbins as interim CEO

The Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) has appointed Catherine Gubbins as its interim chief executive while the company continues its search for a permanent holder of the post.

Gubbins was appointed group chief financial officer early last year, after serving as group financial controller on joining in 2014 and as a member of the executive management team from April 2019.

Before moving to DAA, Gubbins was a senior manager with PwC Ireland, having worked in the professional services firm for more than 16 years. 

She has a primary degree in law and accounting from the University of Limerick and a Master of Accounting degree from UCD. A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, she has also acted as chair of the Leinster Society of Chartered Accountants.

Incumbent CEO Dalton Philips is leaving DAA this month to take on the CEO role at Greencore Group plc.
