Professional services group Xeinadin has announced the appointment of Dave O’Brien as the new Head of Tax for the company in Ireland.
Based in Cork, O’Brien will oversee tax advisory services for Xeinadin across Ireland, bringing together tax experts under one department, and giving clients access to expertise from Xeinadin’s offices across the country.
O’Brien will lead the team in key taxation areas such as succession planning, M&A activity, corporate restructures, VAT and a range of other tax advisory services aimed at the SME market.
As part of the offering, they will also advise on international tax aspects such as non-resident corporates and non-resident individuals who are doing business in Ireland or proposing to do business in the country.
Sandra Clarke, Managing Partner of Xeinadin Ireland said: “We are delighted to announce Dave as Head of Tax in Ireland.
“Dave’s wealth of knowledge and expertise make him the ideal person to lead a team in providing the highest standards of tax advice and services for our clients.
“Now more than ever businesses across the country need support and under the stewardship of Dave, we see a bright future for our tax advisory in Ireland.”
O’Brien started his career at EY before joining Quintas in 2012 where he went on to become their Tax Advisory Partner until Quintas was acquired by Xeinadin in 2023.
“I’m thrilled to be leading this exciting project which has lots of potential,” O’Brien said about his new role.
“We are fortunate that the members of our tax team have experience in all areas of taxation, allowing us to become a one-stop shop for all businesses located in Ireland.
“I’m looking forward to leading this team now and into the future.”

Xeinadin announced in June this year it would earmark €40m for investment into Ireland over the next 18 months as it expands its footprint in Ireland.
To date, Xeinadin employs over 500 people across the country.
