Digital Business Ireland, the representative body for the digital and online sector, will host its first conference event, Business Beyond Borders, at the RDS in Dublin on 14 September, with hundreds of businesses set to attend.
The event, supported by DBI's primary partner, Permanent TSB, will feature dedicated sessions on industry trends and insights, website optimisations, digital payments solutions, and user experience.
The expo will feature speakers from companies such as Microsoft, Trustpilot, hummgroup PLC, DocuSign and PUIG, and sessions will be led by prominent business organisations, including Enterprise Ireland and the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland, among others.
Many of DBI's network of partners will also address the conference, like Core Optimisation, Checkout.com, Milk Bottle Labs, .IE, Tap Retail, and digifly. Figures from An Post and Oireachtas digital communications manager Jason Kiernan will also speak.
DBI said the event is "competitively priced" with some complimentary and discounted tickets available to customers, and exhibitors will be featured on all marketing and promotional materials.
"Today is an exciting day for all of us at Digital Business Ireland, as we mark the official launch of the most significant event in our calendar - the Business Beyond Borders Expo," said Lorraine Higgins, secretary general of Digital Business Ireland.
"As the leading representative body for digital and online businesses, we are proud to host best-in-class events that put global brands, cutting-edge companies and industry innovators together in one room.
"Businesses who attend the Expo can expect to connect with some of the most progressive service providers in the industry, while having the opportunity to hear directly from exhibitors who are at the forefront of digital transformation.
"Our ability to attract the quality of speakers that we have on offer at the Expo, is testament to Digital Business Ireland’s steadfast commitment to advancing the digital agenda in Ireland, and supporting businesses on their journey to digitalisation.
"Additionally, we have a number of high-level speakers yet to be announced, and we are very much looking forward to sharing these details in the coming weeks”.
Business Beyond Borders is DBI's latest showcase after hosting the National Digital Awards Luncheon which was held in the Gibson Hotel earlier this year. An Post won National Website of the Year at the event.
