Dublin Chamber will mark its return to in-person events with a celebration for International Women's Day next Tuesday (8 March) at the Radisson Blue on Golden Lane.
Over 200 members will attend the special event for IWD, the theme of which this year is "breaking the bias", and working towards a diverse, equitable and inclusive world, dismantling stereotypes and ending discrimination.
Tickets for the event, hosted in partnership with the Local Enterprise Office and taking place from 5:30pm to 9pm at the Dublin 8 hotel, are available from dublinchamber.ie/events, and all Dublin Chamber members are welcome.
Dublin Chamber said the International Women's Day 2022 panel would feature guest speakers who will discuss their careers, challenges they have overcome and offer advice to fellow business leaders.
Radio broadcaster Ruth Scott will MC the event, which will feature a keynote speech from Anne Sheehan, general manager of Microsoft Ireland, while Bees on the Roof founder Emma Finn, HairWeavon Wigs & Hair CEO Yinka Martin and Arran Street East managing director Dobrawa Brach will be on the panel
Members will also have an opportunity to ask their own questions during the facilitated panel discussion, and Imelda Rey and Sandra Quinn, from sponsors Irish Times Training and Barden, will also give speeches.
Mary McSweeney, senior executive officer/deputy head of economic development and enterprise for Dublin City, will also say a few works about the Local Enterprise Office.
