Dublin is hosting the annual exhibition of the platinum winners of the A’Design Award. The A’Design Award celebrates the best international designs, honouring the best designers, architects, engineers, studios, brands and design-led companies worldwide.
Dublin was named World Design Hub 2015 by the International Association of Designers and will host the event as part of the year of Irish Design 2015. The exhibition runs from October 1 until November 7 at the Design Hub, Coach House, Dublin Castle, Dublin 2.
Thousands of design entries are judged and the top 1% are awarded the Platinum award for exemplary levels of design. Entries are judged anonymously by expert academic, journalist and professional judges.
The exhibition features the award winning design for the CIT Architecture Factory in Cork, designed by Marc O’Riain and developed by architects RKD. The interior features six green shipping container offices surrounding open plan student design studios.
