Philip Lee LLP has announced that it plans to double the size of its corporate and M&A team over the next three years, with Eoghan Doyle set to lead the team.
The law firm with its HQ in Dubin and corporate offices in London and San Francisco says recruitment has already commenced.
Doyle, a partner with the firm, has been appointed as the new head of corporate and M&A, succeeding outgoing department head Andreas McConnell, a senior partner at the firm for the past fifteen years who remains centrally involved in the business.
The firm has experienced massive growth in recent years and currently has 10 M&A partners and a total team of 25 in corporate.
Over the next number of years, Philip Lee plans to double that to 50 and build on the momentum of the Irish M&A market and client demand for experienced and specialist transaction teams.
As a partner for the past nine years, Doyle has worked alongside McConnell.
Doyle is co-author of one of the most watched and highly regarded M&A reports of the year, the bi-annual Philip Lee M&A Insights Guide in association with Experian.
“We have a philosophy of “Leading the Way, by building expert teams to deliver for our valued clients," Doyle said.
“Through the leadership of our partners, our teams think creatively and work collaboratively, with our clients at the core of everything we do.
“We are looking forward to continuing to invest in, and expand, our talent offering in corporate and M&A.”
