eShopWorld has secured the top spot in the Deloitte Fast 50 ranking, which measures Ireland’s fastest growing indigenous companies in the tech sector.

Deloitte said eShopWorld, a new entrant to the ranking this year, achieved a growth rate of 9,909% over the last four years. The company’s niche is global eCommerce and logistics management, with a modular solution that gives online retailers control over the end-to-end customer journey. eShopWorld supports large and mid-sized retailers that want to sell their products internationally, while continuing to enhance and promote their brand identity. eShopWorld’s modules - Global Checkout, Payments, Logistics, Customer Service, Marketing Insights, and Retail Administration - deliver a localized customer experience that focuses on reducing cart abandonment, and on removing all pain points from the shoppers’s engagement with the retailer’s brand.

eShopWorld’s operating company, U.S. Direct E-Commerce Ltd, booked a net loss of €263,000 in 2014, bringing accumulated losses to €1.63 million. Year-end liabilities amounted to €4.1 million.

Vearsa Ltd, the company ranked in second place, last filed accounts (for 2012) in June 2013. The Cork company booked a loss of €719,000 through 2012.
