HP Unveils New Business Printers

HP has refreshed its range of business printers with a slew of new models. The PageWide Enterprise Colour series is aimed at large workgroups with printing volume of up to 15,000 pages a month, with a print speed of up to 75 pages per minute. The PageWide MFP 556 printer is priced from €727 and the PageWide MFP 586 sells from €1,922.

Also new is PageWide Pro 500 series, available to customers as part of Managed Print Services contracts. In the this range too are the PageWide Pro 400 series (4,500 pages a month, priced from €399), and PageWide 300 series (3,000 pages a month, priced from €299). The 400 and 300 model ranges are expected to ship in June.

HP’s new mono laser flagship for SMEs is the LaserJet Pro M501 (pictured), designed for print volumes of up to 6,000 pages a month and priced from €490. Also new is the LaserJet Pro MFP M377 series, a colour multi-function printer priced from €399.

Technology advances has seen a revival in the popularity of inkjet printers, and HP claims its new OfficeJet Pro 8210 printer has 50% lower print cost per page than lasers. This one goes on sale in May, priced at €129. For micro and home businesses printing up to 800 pages a month, HP recommends its new OfficeJet Pro 6900 series, coming in June and priced from €149.

HP’s inkjet offering also extends to new OfficeJet Pro 8700 range of all-in-ones, which promise two-sided print and scan jobs and space-saving designs.
