Human + Kind Ltd, which makes natural skincare products in Cork and sells them worldwide, is seeking court protection from its creditors. According to Companies Office filings, an E24 Notice of Application for Appointment of an Examiner was lodged on 19 February 2016 and received on February 23.

In August 2015, the company received €300,000 equity investment from Abu Dhabi investor Ibrahim Khrais.

Human + Kind Ltd was established in 2011 by Jerone Proos (43) and Rene Van Willigen (70). The company booked a loss of €140,000 in the year to March 2015, bringing accumulated losses to €640,000. Year-end liabilities amounted to €1.2m.
