Software company Ideagen has released a new version of its audit software Pentana. Version 4.2 includes new features to give improved visibility of emerging risks, better analytics and integration with third party applications, a more flexible user experience, and greater flexibility and efficiency.
Ideagen says that Pentana helps integrate all aspects of the audit cycle from annual planning to detailed risk assessment and controls testing, through to action tracking and audit committee reporting, and can equally be used for enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, or any application where risk assessment and centralised action tracking is required.
Based on feedback and customer requests, the latest version allows users to login and work online, as well as providing other features clients felt desirable.
Revenue Growth
Ideagen plc is listed on London’s AIM market and handles a stable of software products in the areas of regulatory compliance, safety standards, enterprise governance, risk management, and healthcare. With over 250 employees, the company reported 60% growth in revenues last year and counts 150 hospitals in Britain and the USA among its clients, as well as more than 300 aviation companies around the world.
Ken Ebbage, managing director of audit solutions, commented: “We are delighted to announce Pentana 4.2, which has been developed using feedback from our customer base. This latest release brings new opportunities for organisations to combine the benefits of audit management with detailed audit testing in a single system — and the introduction of the web interface has brought a whole new dimension to the product.”
