IKEA is set to open its seventh plan and order point in Ireland in Waterford. The new outlet will be the Swedish furniture giant's largest store outside Dublin.
IKEA said the new store will primarily focus on kitchen, wardrobe, and living room storage planning but will also have a section with 100 different products available for purchase.
The store will also provide a click & collect service, allowing customers to order any IKEA item online and pick up locally free of charge, and it will also serve as an in-store returns location when it opens on July 17.
However, customers have been warned the store in Tramore Road Business Park will operate on a cashless basis, accepting card and digital payments only.
IKEA said the 840 sq m store will be eight times larger than all other existing Plan and Order Points in Ireland outside of the capital. 15 staff have been hired to help customers through the design process.
Jayne Owen Gauld, market manager at IKEA Ireland said: “We are incredibly excited to bring this IKEA experience to Waterford.
"This new plan and order point is not just our largest store outside of Dublin; it's a testament to our commitment to making IKEA more accessible and convenient.

"We’re really looking forward to becoming a part of the vibrant Waterford retail landscape and community."
IKEA plans to open three more locations across the country by the end of the year.
