KBC Bank has launched a new tranche of its Privileged Portfolio Pro investment fund. The banks said Privileged Portfolio Pro, caters for different risk appetites and features added protection with floor monitoring.
Privileged Portfolio was first introduced in January 2016 and saw a release in Ireland last February which drew sigificant investor interest, according to KBC.
Investors and savers can buy into the Privileged Portfolio PRO funds for €10,000 and the funds are managed locally in Dublin by KBC Fund Management.
The bank says the fund manager uses 'floor monitoring', which links an actively managed portfolio to a management model that sets out to keep the value of the investment above a particular floor price at all times.
Patrick Van Loij of KBC said: “Our latest investment fund launch builds on the popularity of previous rounds for investors with a wide range of appetites for risk. Our floor protection monitoring provides a very useful tool in the current investment space.”
KBC Asset Management holds €205 billion in assets under management across 1,400 funds. Product details are available at KBC’s 15 hubs around the country.
