Dublin law firm ByrneWallace, led my managing partner Catherine Guy, has received the Law Firm of the Year award at the annual AIB Private Banking Irish Law Awards. The firm, which employs over 200 professionals, beat several of the country’s leading law firms to take the award at a black tie gala evening hosted by RTE personality Miriam O’Callaghan.
The award for best Banking, Finance/Restructuring and Insolvency Team was presented to Beauchamps Solicitors, with Orpen Franks winning the award for Leinster Law Firm of the Year (over 5 solicitors).
The Property & Probate Team award went to Ronan Daly Jermyn, while the Public Sector Team award went to Eversheds.
Dr Eamonn G Hall, chair of the judges, said: "The standard and calibre of the submissions for rhe AIB Private Banking Irish Law Awards are exceptional. They reflect the significant and impressive achievements of solicitors, barristers and legal executives from all over Ireland.”
Michael McDowell SC, the newly elected BUI senator who turns 65 this month, was guest of honour.
