Paddy Bolger has been appointed liquidator of Balcony TV Global Ltd. BalconyTV was founded in 2006 by Stephen O’Regan and Tom Millett and the late Hugh O’Regan was an investor.

The company started out by filming up-and-coming music artists playing live on a balcony overlooking Dame Street in Dublin, and the concept was exported to other cities.

The company’s last filed accounts are for the year to July 2012, when accumulated losses stood at €374,000. At the time the company had liabilities of €660,000 and a net worth of minus €134,000.

The taxpayer invested €200,000 in the venture in June 2013 through Enterprise Ireland.
