Storage unit provider Nesta Storage has acquired a fifth location in Dublin and plans to open an 800-unit storage facility at the Kilbarrack site later this year.
The location was previously the headquarters of car parts distributor Team PR Reilly. Nesta is renovating the building and apart from the self-storage units the premises will also house 33 self-contained and serviced office units.
Nesta says the total investment in the facility will run to €6m.
Managing director Brian Hefferon (pictured) said: “Adding the Kilbarrack facility to our Dublin portfolio is an integral part of our strategy to provide state-of-the-art storage solutions to our customers, close to where they work and live.”
Nesta, part of the Kefron Group, has been in business for c.30 years, and says it goes further than just offering secure storage solutions for customer’s belongings. In addition to storage spaces, the company also provides customers with fully furnished office space, virtual offices and meeting rooms featuring business-grade broadband.
The company’s existing four locations are at Sandyford, Deansgrange, Kylemore, and Santry. A sixth location is also planned for south Dublin.
