Marketing communications group Omnicom Media Group (OMG) Ireland, whose subsidiaries include OMD and PHD, has relocated to new offices on St Stephen's Green.

The company, ultimately owned by the US-based Omnicom Group, counts the likes of Diageo, SSE Airtricity, and Virgin Media among its clients in Ireland and recently won the media and SEO account for Aer Lingus.

Previously based in Clonskeagh, OMG will move its staff of 152 people to the 13,000 sq ft central Dublin site, and CEO Jason Nebenzahl described it as "a significant step" in the company's development.

"When appointed to my role in August 2019, I promised I would focus on making us better, not different. This meant focusing on people’s happiness, progression and productivity," Nebenzahl said.

"While our move to Stephen’s Green is just an office, it does represent a significant step in our journey as a business highlighting both growth and ambition.

"However, it will still be the people in our business that matter most, offices do not do great work or look after clients, and while our new one is nice and shiny and a place I personally will be very proud to walk into, it will still be everyone working for OMD and PHD and OMG each day who will make the difference and provide an even greater sense of pride and excitement."

Since taking the reins at OMG, Nebenzahl said he had increased staff numbers by 56 and "vastly improved our product, grown our business and surprised and delighted existing clients resulting in a 100% retention rate in 2021."

Offices
Omnicom Media Group has moved to new offices on Stephen's Green.

"Omnicom Media Group is part of Omnicom a global leader of marketing and communication. We are an integrated media and communications agency with an enviable portfolio of clients featuring some of the most iconic and influential Irish and international brands," Nebenzahl, who previously served as managing director of PHD for 11 years, said.

"Omnicom Media Group is unique amongst the global advertising networks in terms of the focus and investment that has been put into operationalising the power of the network across markets. The seamless ways in which technology, capabilities and expertise are transferred from our central hubs outwards, and from market to market, is unparalleled."

The latest accounts for OMG show the group brought in revenues of €91m in 2020, up from €85.7m the previous year, as profit dropped from €1.5m to €900,000 on the back of increased administrative expenses.

"Performance for the year was strong and the directors are of the opinion that the prospects of continuing growth remain positive," the OMG's directors said at the time.

Nebenzahl is one of the directors of OMG, along with COO Claire Butterly, PHD managing director Gemma Teeling, OMD MD Fiona Field, and TBWA\Dublin MD Fergal Behan and CEO Deirdre Waldron.
