NBA, Spurs and Only Fans leaders lined up for One-Zero conference

Leading figures from the NBA, the Premier League's Tottenham Hotspur, and OnlyFans will be among the speakers at the One-Zero Conference when its returns to Dublin next month following a four-year hiatus.

The sports and technology conference will take place at the Aviva Stadium for the first time since 2019 on 28-30 March, with key topics such as sponsorship, media, iGaming and fantasy, and Web 3 on the agenda.

The conference is set to be attended by representatives from international rights-holders, sponsors, brands and agencies and presents a number of learning, networking and collaboration opportunities.

Thomas Ryan, VP of basketball strategy and analytics at the NBA; Will Symon, head of partnership development at Spurs; and Kelly Blair, chief strategy and operations at Only Fans have been added to the line-up for the conference.

Ryan is tasked with growing basketball's popularity through technology and innovation initiatives, products and partnerships. Blair has overseen efforts to drive and communicate the strategic initiatives and future goals to users and commercial partners of internet content subscription service Only Fans.

She will speak at One-Zero about how Only Fans provides a safe and innovative platform for athletes and sports training. The site is primarily used by sex workers at present.

Symon has spent a decade between Premier League, Formula 1 and Formula E, and is now in charge of delivering commercial growth for Spurs across a variety of partnership verticals.

“I’m excited to attend this year’s One-Zero to talk about the increasing convergence of sports and technology," Symon said.

Also confirmed are former professional footballer Marvin Sordell, founder of production company Oneighty Productions and influencer marketing agency SWOOP; Tobi Wakefield, managing director of e-sports group Jlingz Sports; and Sam Jefferies, commercial director of Norwich City FC.

Ross O’Dwyer, co-founder and chairman of One-Zero, said: “It’s incredible to be able to announce such a strong calibre of guests as One-Zero makes its long anticipated return to Dublin.

One-Zero most recently took place in Indianapolis in July 2022, the first time it had been held since the pandemic, with over 30 international speakers following significant investment from the city of Indianapolis, which will see the event brought back to the US for the next three years.
