Ryanair carried 11.2m passengers in November, an increase of 1m or 10% year-on-year while load factor rose five points as flights put on by the airline last month operated at 92% capacity.
The company has flown 158.4m passengers over the past 12 months, an increase of 144% from the previous 12 months when public health restrictions were in place. Load factor for the rolling 12-month period was 91%, up from 81% over the prior year.
Ryanair also announced a new Dublin-Trieste service to operate twice weekly from April as part of its summer schedule, with fairs from €29.99.
“With Easter and Summer ’23 fast approaching, we are delighted to be bringing even more choice and value to our Irish customers with the addition of this new route to Trieste as part of our Summer ‘23 schedule, offering our Dublin customers even more choice when planning their long-awaited summer holidays," said Ryanair's Dara Brady.
"To mark this good news, we’ve launched a limited-time seat sale for early bird customers looking to bag themselves a bargain on their Summer ’23 holiday with fares starting from just €29.99 available now on Ryanair.com.”
Ryanair reported net profit of close to €1.3bn in the six months to September, with revenues of €4.4bn from fares following strong summer traffic and a further €2.2bn in ancillary revenue.
The company in September announced plans to add 2,000 jobs in Ireland by the end of the decade while investing €20bn in a new technology aircraft, €50m in a new training centre for pilots and cabin crew, and €8m in an engineering excellence centre.
