Sisu Clinic, billed as a doctor-led aesthetic medicine destination offering non-surgical beauty treatments, has opened its 14th clinic in Terenure, Dublin.
Sisu Clinic treatments span botox, dermal fillers, skin boosters, thread lifts, and more.
The venture was established in 2018 by millionaire tech entrepreneur Pat Phelan and Dr James Cotter and Dr Brian Cotter.
The Cotter brothers say that after graduating from college they found themselves balancing their work as general surgeons and internists in hospitals by day while treating a growing number of patients for cosmetic procedures at off-site clinics part-time.
The Sisu founders say they felt “compelled” to evoke a change in the industry, establishing a practice to put medical expertise and patients at the forefront of cosmetic and aesthetic care.
According to Pat Phelan, the venture’s chief executive: “At Sisu we are witnessing a growing demand for aesthetic treatments across Ireland and beyond, and we’re excited to be in a strong position to rise to the needs of our patients.
“The opening of Terenure, and our clinic opening in Naas last December, allows us to increase appointment availability and location convenience for the growing number of patients who are coming to Sisu for their non-invasive cosmetic medical care.”
Sisu Clinic has trade-marked the word ‘Tweakments’ to advertise its range of services. The company says that the initial consultation is free, and that in most cases same-day treatment is possible.
Accounts filings for operating company Sempiternal Aesthetics Ltd discloses equity investment of €5.7m, and balance sheet cash of €5.1m in December 2020.
The company had 22 people employed in 2020 and booked a net loss of €400,000.
