Northern Irish learning technology company Synergy Learning has appointed Tory Kerley and Jonny McAlister to new roles within its senior leadership team.
Kerley, who was previously head of people becomes head of people, performance and culture with responsibility for all aspects of HR, and learning and development. She had led Synergy Learning's transition to a remote-first, asynchronous working model.
Having been with the company for 16 years, McAlister has been promoted to head of customer experience from his previous role as head of sales & marketing, and he will be responsible for leading teams in sales, marketing, project management and support as well as implementing new business strategies to accelerate growth.
The appointments form part of Synergy Learning's growth plans after investing £500,000 in its newly-opened hub at the Catalyst Innovation Centre in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter, with recruitments to expand its workforce currently under way.
Kerley and McAlister will sit alongside Synergy Learning founder and CEO Roy Kerley, head of operations Peter Hinds and head of finance Siobhan Quinn on the leadership team.
Commenting on the appointments, Roy Kerley said: "Our people and our customers are at the core of everything we do and we’re excited about the creation of these new roles and what they will add to the Synergy Learning Senior Leadership Team.
"Tory and Jonny both have a wealth of experience in the respective fields and we’re lucky to have such great leaders. I look forward to the fresh insight and approaches they’ll bring to their new roles and the business.”
The announcement follows a number of customer wins for Synergy Learning, including the World Trade Organisation and Hyundai Motor Europe.
