Irish digital engineering company Tantek4D is to create 30 jobs over the next 18 months in areas such as automation, project management, AI, machine learning and geospatial surveying, and open its first office in the US.

The Sligo-based firm has built a reputation for innovative enterprises in the architectural, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) industry, and the company has pioneered new software for 4D building information modelling (BIM) technology in construction.

Tantek4D has also aided large construction companies in implementing their digital transformation strategies through advances in their business operations, processes and structure.

The firm has offices in Sligo, Dublin and London, and in expanding to the US, it is signalling its aspirations to further deliver its services to international markets.

The announcement of the US office coincides with need to grow the headcount at its Irish offices to fulfil urgent demand for services nationwide, with numbers set to increase from 14 to 44.
