Law firm Taylor Wessing has agreed a partnership with Legora, which has developed a collaborative artificial intelligence for lawyers.
Following a successful pilot involving more than 80 lawyers across multiple Taylor Wessing offices, Legora will now be rolled out across the firm.
Training will be tailored to each area of the practice to ensure staff get the most out of the platform.
"The roll out of Legora in Ireland and across Taylor Wessing globally aligns with our client-first AI strategy," said Adam Griffiths, partner and head of the Dublin office at Taylor Wessing.
"We are focused on embedding the right tools where they add the most value and insight.
"This marks an exciting development enhancing the way we work and the service we provide, while ensuring we maintain a competitive edge in the Irish market."
Legora has been designed to support day-to-day legal work and acts as a virtual assistant to help with tasks such as case analysis, document and table review, diligence and contract review, and drafting support while integrating into existing workflows.
The platform also has proactive risk tools that use predictive analytics to help spot issues early and manage them effectively.
Taylor Wessing has advised on a number of AI-related transactions, including Rezole AI's establishment of a $1bn Bitcoin Treasury Programme and its Nasdaq listing, Peak AI's acquisition of UiPath, and DeepL's recent funding round.
The firm also advised Legora on its set-up in 2023. Legora has offices in New York, Stockholm and London and has raised $120m in funding to date.
“Our partnership with Taylor Wessing represents a shift in how we think about empowering lawyers and accelerating the adoption of AI within law firms," said Alex Fortescue-Webb, head of UK&I at Legora.

"They are clear that AI is an integral part of the firm’s future, and a key lever in how they will continue to maintain and extend the exceptional service they provide to their clients.
"It’s an honour to be trusted as a key partner on this journey and to collaborate so closely with them to bring further enhancements to the Legora platform.”
