Vincent Crowley has step stepped down as senior independent director of drinks group C&C and has been replaced by non-executive director Chris Browne.

Crowley will also step down from the C&C board after nine years at the Bulmers maker's AGM in July.

“I would like to thank Vincent for his dedication to C&C and his significant contribution to the board as non-executive director, and senior independent director has been invaluable," said Ralph Findlay, group executive chair of C&C.

"On behalf of the company and the board, we wish Vincent all the best for the future and are delighted to have Chris succeed him in this role."

Dublin-headquartered C&C appointed Andrew Andrea as its new chief financial officer in December, and he will take up the position in March.
