Vodafone Ireland has agreed a 12-month deal with RTE to sponsor Radio 1’s The Ryan Tubridy Show. Vodafone said the sponsorship will help showcase Vodafone Home phone and broadband services.
Tubridy’s new hour long programme will begin at 9am on Monday September 7. The Late Late host is replacing John Murray in the slot, and returns to Radio 1 after a number of years doing the morning show on sister station 2FM.
The month sponsorship deal will consist of sponsorship stings, cross station promotional spots, promotions, home page and podcast sponsorship.

RTE Radio sponsorship manager Tara Farrell said to date 2015 has proven very successful for RTE Radio sponsorship. “Securing global brand Vodafone as sponsor of a brand new show proves the commercial strength of RTE Radio 1’s listenership.”
