International legal and professional services firm Walkers has appointed Dermot Casserly as partner and head of its employment law team in Ireland.
Walkers' global employment law practice offers advice across multiple jurisdictions, covering both contentious and non-contentious workplace matters.
Prior to joining Walkers, Dermot led the employment team at DWF in Ireland and previously held roles at Beauchamps Solicitors and KPMG.

In a statement, Walkers described Dermot as a highly experienced employment law specialist who can help clients navigate complex workplace matters, from creating robust employment contracts to resolving sensitive disciplinary issues.
He was also described as having experience in redundancy consultations, union negotiations and comprehensive employment audits, and being known for his strategic counsel on TUPE, immigration and M&A employment matters.
