The trend of declining circulation in the UK newspaper industry continued in the March to August 2015 period, according to the ABC, the organisation that independently verifies newspaper and magazine circulation.

The average year-on-year decline for daily red top tabloids was  10.6%. Quality dailies were down 4.4% in volume while among large circulation titles the least slippage was at the Daily Mail (-3.5%).

Circulation in Sunday tabloids has declined by 11.8% in the past year, with the worst slippage at the Sunday People, down 15%. Quality Sunday titles are down by 6.1%.
