If you ever have a need to hold events in Central and Eastern Europe, then TurnedSee could be the tool you need.
Developed by founder and chief executive Pauline Kwasniak (pictured), TurnedSee is aimed at event planners wanting to search and book venues, hotels, restaurants or spaces for events and groups in Eastern Europe.
According to Kwasniak, who was born in Poland and brought up in Ireland: “TurnedSee wants to bring many hidden gems which would not have access to international event planners, and help them to compete with the cities such as London, Rome or Paris.”
Noting that researching venues is a complex business, Kwasniak said that TurnedSee will enable planners to “discover, research, compare and request the venues they like, at the comfort of their office or home”.
Kwasniak added: "The time has come for Eastern Europe to show what great facilities, places, and hospitality it offers to the rest of the world and to win business from international event planners.
“However, education and training are still needed as many of the restaurants, for example, do not even have a good website in English. TurnedSee will help them to list their spaces and attract new clients to their properties.”
Kwasniak says the platform is more than just a directory of locations and venues.
“We create bespoke content about our venues and spaces, with distinct information for event planners, not available anywhere else online," she said. “Our proprietary algorithm and keywords search facility allows event planners to discover suitable venues in a matter of seconds — no more endless searching for the right place. We are innovating the venue research process.”
Users can create a wish list of up to eight venues, and Turned See will respond with proposals from all eight. Once a planner decides which offers to pursue, TurnedSee says it will connect the client directly to the appropriate sales person at the venue.
The firm is eager to sign up clients and promote the eventing wonders of CEE, so it is also promoting buyer and supplier events where they can make contact.
