Voxpro, Ireland’s largest international provider of customer experience and technical support solutions, has announced further expansion plans in America with a new 500-seat call centre in Athens, Georgia, scheduled to be in operation by 2020.

CEO and co-founder Dan Kiely commented: “North America is a critical part of our global expansion and we are excited to be a leading Irish company bringing jobs to the US. We’ve had a great welcome from the local community, and we’re delighted to be partnering with Governor Nathan Deal and the Georgia Department of Economic Development on our latest expansion as we continue to scale internationally.”

“Georgia offers a wealth of resources for an innovative company like Voxpro to grow its business,” said Governor Deal. “Georgia’s top-ranked business climate and highly skilled workforce is critical to attracting international business. We established a strong relationship with Voxpro leadership in Ireland and look forward to the company’s continued investment in Georgia.”

Earlier this year Voxpro announced plans to expand its call centre in Folsom, California, from 200 to 450 employees. The company also has a sales and marketing office in San Francisco.

Voxpro’s services include social media management, coding, fraud analysis and hardware technical support. Its customers include Google, Airbnb and Stripe. The company, which was formed in 2004 by Dan and Linda Kiely (pictured), is headquartered in Cork.
