Woodland Group Targets Food Exporters

Woodland Group, an independent UK global freight forwarding and supply chain specialist, has announced its expansion into providing logistics for food and beverage companies.

Ireland is leading the way in Europe as the largest net exporter of dairy ingredients, beef and lamb in Europe with Ireland exporting €10.5bn worth of drink and beverage goods in 2015 to 120 countries.

Kevin Brady, managing director of Woodland Group in Ireland, commented: “Ireland’s continued growth in the food and beverage sector is evident in the increasing export volumes. There is a growing need for competent logistic solutions that can enhance established trade routes and help penetrate emerging markets.
