Dell unveils improved Latitude 7320 Rugged Extreme tablet

Dell Technologies has unveiled its newly redesigned Latitude 7320 Rugged Extreme tablet, which boasts a 12" screen and up to 20 hours of battery life, and has been built for use by professionals working in extreme environments.

The premium tablet is designed specifically for people working in arduous roles demanding critical reliability such as those in emergency medical services, the military and government with its durability, mobility, reliability and security features.

The Latitude 7320 Rugged Extreme has dual hot-swap batteries for continuous operation, a true 16:10 ratio display with 13% more active screen area than previous generations, and glove-touch capability allowing optimal screen interactivity.

The device has also been drop-tested from up to 1.2 metres and temperature-tested from -28C to 62C to withstand strenuous circumstances.

The tablet is also available with a range of supportive accessories, including a new detachable keyboard, an active pen to further enhance screen interactivity, a rotating hand and shoulder strap built with durable, cleanable materials, a magnetic mount that will enable users to attach the tablet to any metallic surface, and a reversible rigid handle that supports ease of mobility.

The Dell 7230 Rugged Extreme tablet will be available globally by the end of 2022.
